The Griffin track and field teams ran at the Dennison University Bob Shannon Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Granville, OH.
The teams combined for 19 top eight finishes in the event. The women's team had ten while the men's team had nine.
The women's team had three first place finishes.
Sarah Gilliam was first in the weight throw with a toss of 15.38 meters.
Keelin Becker was first in the triple jump with a leap of 10.87 meters.
Kate Pipilo was first in the mile with a time of 5:15.82. Becker was also sixth in the long jump (4.69m).
Baine Snyder was third in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.48 meters.
Marissa Manko was third in the 3000 with a time of 12:25.82.
Rebekah Daniszewski had two top 6 finishes whith a fifth place in the weight throw (14.36m) and sixth place in the shot put (10.88m).
Jada Freeman was fifth in the mile (5:56.15) and
Jordan Fairman was fifth in the 800 (2:30.62).
Angelo Allen was first in the shot put with a toss of 15.68 meters. He was also second in the weight throw with a toss of 15.61 meters.
David Graef had two top 7 finishes. He was sixth in the 200 (23.78) and seventh in the 60 (7.24).
Tony Sacco was second in the 60 hurdles in a time of 8.91.
Kaden Crump was fourth in the 800 (1:58.31) and
Hunter Thomas was sixth in the mile (4:48.00).
SHU will travel to Grand Valley State next weekend for the GVSU Big Meet.
