For the first time, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its Fall 2025 Academic All-Conference Teams. The new honor was created to increase academic recognition for high-achieving student-athletes, which was a priority for the Conference's membership highlighted in its most recent Strategic Plan.
Seton Hill had 28 members of its athletic program earn the initial award. These members are split between the men's and women's soccer teams, football team, volleyball team and men's and women's cross country teams.
The Academic All-Conference teams have been adopted with the following requirements:
• Undergraduate and Graduate Student-Athletes must have completed two seasons of eligibility at the nominating campus AND four semesters academically – with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
• Student-athletes must have met a minimum of participation requirements. For team sport selections, this includes playing in 70% of a team's contests (through the conference championship date.) For individual sports, there are unique participation requirements
Recognition is based solely on meeting the above criteria.
GPAs were calculated through the previous completed semester (Spring 2025).
In total, 343 student-athletes across all 17 PSAC institutions qualified for the Fall 2025 PSAC Academic All-Conference Teams.
