Seton Hill junior forward Mia Kalich was named the PSAC West Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.  This is the second weekly award for Kalich this season.  She earned PSAC West Athlete of the Week earlier in the season.

Kalich earned the award as the Griffins went 3-0 in PSAC Crossover action last week.  

Kalich led the Griffins to a trio of PSAC Crossover wins by averaging 14.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per contest.  Kalich also added 21 steals, 19 assists and 2 blocks in the three contests.  Mia posted a triple double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals in the win at Bloomsburg.  

The Griffins will take a break for the Christmas holiday before returning to the court on January 2nd when they host Kutztown.
