Seton Hill University Track and Field Coach Jamal Johnson has announced the promotion of Raven Haston to a full time position as track and field/cross country assistant coach.
In her short time on the Hill, Haston has made an immediate impact on the Griffin track and field and cross country programs.
Haston began her college career at Winston Salem State University where she helped the Rams to a CIAA Championship in 2022. Raven finished fifth in the 100 at the CIAA Championships. Haston concluded her collegiate career at UNC Pembroke. Raven was eighth in the 60 meter dash in the indoor championships and then was eighth in the 100 meter dash finals. She also helped the 4x1 relay team to a third place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championships.
She attended the Barack Obama Academy in Pittsburgh, PA where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Raven qualified for the PIAA Championships in all four years of high school.
Haston holds a Master degree of Sports Administration from UNC Pembroke and a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from Winston Salem State.
