Seton Hill traveled to Slippery Rock for a key PSAC West contest on Saturday afternoon.
The Griffins scored three times in the second half as they picked up the important PSAC victory with a 3-0 win over the Rock. SHU is now 8-5-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the west while the Rock falls to 6-6-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the west. Â
Neither team was able to score in the first half of the contest. The Griffins outshot the Rock 7-1 in the first half of action. Â
Less than five minutes into the second half, the Griffins took a 1-0 lead on a goal from
Rowan Aisenbrey. SHU extended its lead to 2-0 in the 60th minute on a goal from
Esteban Moreira.Â
Julian Marker assisted on the goal. Eight minutes later, Moreira scored his second of the contest. Aisenbrey assisted on the goal.
Jannik Reiss made three saves in the shutout win.
SHU will host CalU on Wednesday afternoon in another PSAC West contest.Â
