Seton Hill continued their PSAC West road swing with a match in Johnstown on Saturday afternoon against Pitt Johnstown.
The Mountain Cats defeated the Griffins in four sets to take the match. SHU falls to 9-7 overall and 1-3 in the west while UPJ improves to 12-5 overall and 3-2 in the west. Â
UPJ took the first set over the Griffins by the score of 25-14. SHU responded with a 25-16 win in the second set. UPJ took the third by the score of 25-13 and wrapped up the match with a 25-19 win in the fourth set. Â
Catie Flohr led the Griffins with 15 kills, 0 errors in 26 attempts.Â
Ella Deeter finished with eight kills.Â
Payton Rodberg and
Emma Meurer each added seven kills.Â
Haley Reed finished with 23 assists while Deeter added 15.Â
Kendyl Wagner led SHU with 12 digs. Deeter and
Maddie Stout each finished with 10 digs.
SHU will travel to Edinboro next Friday evening.Â
