The Seton Hill cross country teams began their 2024 season in Edinboro at the Doug Watts Open on Saturday morning.  

The men's team finished third overall while the women's team placed sixth.  

Leading the way for the men's team was Cody Achilles who was third overall in a time of 19:54.67.  Also finishing in the top ten was Kaden Crump who was ninth overall.  Crump completed the 6K course in a time of 20:22.81.  Hunter Thomas was 27th overall in a time of 21:48.31.  Drew Raulli was 39th overall in a time of 22:29.33.  Rounding out the top five was Jake Raulli who was 47th in a time of 23:47.56.  

Kate Pipilo led the women's team with a 12th place finish.  She ran the 5K course in 19:43.60.  Katelyn Stravinsky was 27th overall in a time of 21:06.50.  Jada Freeman placed 30th with a time of 21:20.80.  Marissa Manko placed 39th with a time of 22:05.60.  

The teams will run at the Kutztown DII/III Challenge next Friday at Kutztown University.
