The Seton Hill University Athletic Department has announced the four individuals who will make up the thirteenth class in the Seton Hill University Athletic Hall of Fame.

The 2024 Seton Hill Hall of Fame Class includes Brett Craig '19 (Men's Lacrosse), Perry Dellavalle '18 (Baseball), Emily LoPresti '19 (Women's Soccer) and Emma Simmers '19 (Women's Lacrosse).

These greats will be officially inducted at the 2024 Seton Hill Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, which will take place on Friday, October 25th. The inductees will also be introduced during the Griffins' Homecoming football game against Clarion on Saturday, October 26th at 4 p.m.

BRETT CRAIG '19
Â
Brett Craig will be remembered as one of the best to ever put on the Griffin Men's Lacrosse uniform.Â
Â
Craig was a four time All Conference selection and a two time conference major award winner, earning G-MAC Specialist of the Year in 2018 and G-MAC Defender of the Year in 2019. Brett also earned national honors as he was a three time USILA All American. He also excelled in the classroom earning CoSIDA Academic All District honors twice in his career.Â

Over his career, Craig scored 20 goals and added 10 assists as a defender. He added 293 ground balls and caused 97 turnovers. The Griffins appeared in two NCAA Tournaments during Craig's career, advancing to the NCAA Final Four in 2018.Â

Craig graduated from Seton Hill with a Communication Degree. Brett was drafted 26
th overall in the 2019 NLL Draft by the Colorado Mammoth. He has spent five seasons with the Mammoth, earning the 2022 NLL Championship. Brett has coached the Denver Elite Club Team is currently residing in the Pittsburgh area.Â

PERRY DELLAVALLE '18
Â
Perry Dellavalle was one of the best ever to step onto the mound for the Seton Hill baseball program.Â
Â
Dellavalle was an All PSAC West selection and a ABCA All Region selection following his sophomore season. Perry was then a NCBWA Preseason First Team All American prior to his junior season.Â
Â
Over his career, Perry had a 21-11 record with six saves and a 2.43 career ERA. He struck out 253 batters in 237.1 innings of work. Perry holds the SHU single season record for strikeouts with 109 and has the best career ERA in SHU history.Â

DellaValle graduated from Seton Hill with a degree in Actuarial Science. Dellavalle was drafted in the 27
th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the St Louis Cardinals. Perry spent two seasons with the Cardinals Organization. Since 2020, he has been a Project Manager for BowTie Medical. Perry is engaged to Jenna Gaglione and the couple is planning a wedding for next September.  Â

EMILY LoPRESTI '19
Â
Emily LoPresti completed a very successful career on the pitch for the Griffin women's soccer program.
Â
LoPresti was a four time All PSAC West selection including two first team All PSAC West selections. Emily was also a four time All Region selection. She was named the Westmoreland County YWCA Sports Woman of the Year after the 2017 season where she scored a career high 17 goals.Â
Â
Over her career, LoPresti scored 40 goals, including 17 game winners while adding 14 assists. She also helped the program to the first two PSAC Tournament appearances in school history.Â
Â
LoPresti graduated from Seton Hill with a degree in exercise science. She is currently studying in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Seton Hill and will graduate in May of 2025. Emily is engaged to former Seton Hill baseball player Tom McCarthy and the couple is planning a July 2025 wedding.Â

EMMA SIMMERS '19
Â
Emma Simmers will go down in the record books as one of the greatest to ever wear a Seton Hill Women's Lacrosse uniform.Â
Â
Simmers is a three time all conference selection including two First Team All PSAC honors. Emma was also a two time IWLCA All Region and two time IWLCA All American selection earning second team All American honors both times.Â
Â
Over her career, Simmers scored 215 goals and added 66 assists. That is the second most goals scored in school history and the third most points in school history. Emma has also added 270 draw controls.Â
Â
Simmers graduated from Seton Hill with a degree in Educational Studies. Emma spent five seasons as an assistant coach with the Seton Hill women's lacrosse program, helping the program to four NCAA Tournament appearances. Simmers followed Coach Courtney Grove to Robert Morris where she will begin her second season as an assistant this spring.Â
