A trio of Griffin baseball players were honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association on Thursday when the ABCA named its Regional All Defensive Teams.

Graduate students Jack Oberdorf (3B) and Owen Sabol (SS) along with senior catcher Braden Durham were all named to the ABCA Atlantic Region All Defensive Team.  This is the second straight time Oberdorf has been named to the team.  It is the first Regional All Defensive Team Award won by Sabol and Durham.  

Durham committed just two errors in 277 chances for a .993 fielding percentage behind the plate.  Sabol fielded at a .976 percentage this season.  He made just five errors in 208 chances at short.  Oberdorf also had just five errors in the infield.  He fielded at a .962 percentage in 132 chances.  

The trio helped the Griffins tie a school record for fielding percentage as they fielded .980 as a team.
