Seton Hill opened NCAA Tournament play with a matchup with top seed and #2 West Chester at Vonnie Gros Field in West Chester, PA on Thursday afternoon.

West Chester took a 6-0 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 19-3 victory over the Griffins to end the season for SHU.  The Griffins end the season with a 13-6 record while WCU improves to 20-0.  

West Chester built a 6-0 lead over the Griffins after the first quarter of play.  The Golden Rams scored the first four goals of the second quarter before Sydney Marusko scored on a free position shot to cut the lead to 10-1 with 2:40 to play in the half.  The Rams led 11-1 at the halftime break.  

SHU scored a pair of goals in the fourth quarter.  Ella Wroblewski scored with 6:15 to play in the fourth.  Piper Conlan closed out the scoring for SHU with a goal with 58 seconds left.  

Allison Hathaway made 10 saves in net for SHU.
