Seton Hill took the short trip to Frostburg, MD for a matchup with Frostburg State on Thursday evening.
The Griffins won four matches by major decision but dropped a 22-16 decision to the Bobcats.
William Burgess got the Griffins off to a good start with a dominant 11-0 victory at 125 pounds. Frostburg tied the match at four with a major decision with at 133 pounds.
Jacob Gardner gave the Griffins an 8-4 lead with a dominant 11-0 major decision at 141 pounds.
Frostburg took a 15-8 lead with three straight wins through six matches.
Collin Hearn ended the streak with an 18-5 major decision win at 174 pounds to trim the lead to 15-12. FSU increased their lead to 18-12 with a decision at 184 pounds.
Brendan Finnerty trimmed the advantage to 18-16 with a 9-1 major decision at 197 pounds
The Griffins will travel to East Stroudsburg on Sunday for a PSAC Dual.
