Box Score Seton Hill made the short trip to California for a PSAC West matchup with the Vulcans on Wednesday evening under the lights.
 
The Griffins used a goal midway through the second half for a 1-0 victory over the Vulcans.  SHU is now 8-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the west.
 
The Griffins dominated possession in the first half but could not connect on the final part as the teams went to the halftime break scoreless.  SHU outshot the Vulcans 6-0 in the half. 
 
Seton Hill took advantage of a Vulcan turnover midway through the second half and Nils Heinrich beat the Vulcan keeper for a 1-0 SHU lead with a little over 27 minutes left to play.
 
Heinrich had three shots on goal for SHU.  Jonathan Leary with the shutout in net. 
 
SHU will host Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon in another PSAC west contest.
