The Griffin men's lacrosse team was ranked ninth in the Inside Lacrosse 2024 Division II preseason rankings.  The Griffins finished last season with a 12-5 overall record and a perfect 7-0 mark in G-MAC play.  SHU advanced to the G-MAC final before falling to national runner up Mercyhurst to end the season.  

Defending national champion Lenoir-Rhyne topped the poll.  Rollins was second followed by Wingate at #3.  Limestone and Tampa rounded out the top five.  G-MAC foe Mercyhurst was sixth in the poll.  

Seton Hill is scheduled to face five teams in the preseason top 20 including Mercyhurst.  SHU is also scheduled to play #5 Tampa in Sparks, MD, host #12 Mercy and play at both #13 U Indy and #16 Frostburg State. 

SHU is scheduled to open their 2024 season on February 10th when they travel to Molloy.
