SETON HILL ANNOUNCES 2023 HALL OF FAME CLASS

The Seton Hill University Athletic Department has announced the four individuals who will make up the twelfth class in the Seton Hill University Athletic Hall of Fame.
 
The 2023 Seton Hill Hall of Fame Class includes Paige Alviani '14 (Women's Basketball), Larry Jesky (Contributor to Athletic Success), Dr Corrine (Gahagen) Poulin '14 (Volleyball) and Kameron Milton Allante Taylor '16 (Men's Basketball). 
 
These greats will be officially inducted at the 2023 Seton Hill Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, which will take place on Friday, September 29th. The inductees will also be introduced during the Griffins' Homecoming football game against Gannon on Saturday, September 30th at 4 p.m.
 
PAIGE ALVIANI '14
 
Paige Alviani will be remembered as one of the greatest to ever play for the Seton Hill women's basketball program.
 
Alviani was a three time All Conference selection over her career including being a first team All WVIAC selection in 2012.  Paige also earned All WVIAC Freshman Team honors.  Alviani earned CoSIDA Academic All District honors following her senior season. 
 
Over her career, Paige finished with 1,723 points.  That is the most points scored by a Griffin since Seton Hill joined the NCAA as full time members.  Alviani shot over 85% from the line, 42% from the field and 38% from three point land.  Paige finished her career with over 400 rebounds and assists and 150 steals.   
 
Alviani earned a Bachelors Degree from Seton Hill in Elementary and Special Education.  Paige also served as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball program while earning a Masters in Middle/Elementary Level Education.  She also served as an assistant with the women's basketball team for two seasons.  Paige is currently in her fifth year as an elementary learning support teacher in the Greater Latrobe School District.  She is also the JV Golf coach at Latrobe.   
 
 
LARRY JESKY
 
Larry Jesky spent 50 years of his life at Seton Hill and his impact on the Athletic Department was substantial. 
 
Jesky was a faculty member at Seton Hill for fifty years, spending the final twenty three years as the school's faculty athletics representative.  Larry's work as FAR was well known across all of the athletic programs and the things he did for all of the department staff and coaching staffs did not go unnoticed. 
 
Jesky played a major role in the development of a compliance office within the Athletic Department and had a key role in Seton Hill gaining full membership in the NCAA a year ahead of schedule. 
 
For his work as FAR, Jesky was named the Division II Faculty Athletics Representative of the Year by the Faculty Athletics Representatives Association for the 2022-23 school year.  Jesky retired from Seton Hill following the 2023 spring semester.
 
DR CORRINE (GAHAGEN) POULIN '14
 
Corrine (Gahagen) Poulin was a very successful athlete on the court and in the classroom at Seton Hill.
 
Poulin was a four time All Conference selection including two first team All PSAC and one first team All WVIAC selection.  In addition, Poulin earned All Region honors three times during her Seton Hill career.  She was a first team Daktronics and AVCA All Region selection following her senior season
 
Off the court, Poulin earned academic honors as she was a two time CoSIDA Academic All District selection 
 
Over her career, Poulin finished with 1,438 kills, 461 total blocks and 444 digs.    
 
Poulin graduated from Seton Hill with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology.  Corrine later graduated from Naturopathic Medical School in 2018 and founded a Naturopathic telehealth company in Texas, Lone Star Natural Health, in 2020.  Corrine is married to Matthew Poulin and they have two boys Luke (4) and Nathan (2).
 
KAMERON MILTON ALLANTE TAYLOR '16
 
Kameron Taylor was one of the best to ever step on the basketball court for the Griffins. 
 
Taylor earned first team All PSAC West honors and NABC All Region honors following his senior season. 
 
Taylor's name is all over the Seton Hill record book.  Kameron is the fourth all time leading scorer in school history.  He is second in free throws made and steals, fourth in assists and fifth in field goals made and free throw percentage.  Taylor has the highest scoring single season with 574 points during the 2015-16 season. 
 
Over his career, Taylor scored 1,409 points.  He made 504 field goals, 311 free throws and shot over 75% from the free throw line.  He added 641 rebounds, 283 assists and 187 steals. 
 
Taylor graduated from Seton Hill with a degree in sociology.  Since graduating, Taylor has been a professional basketball player, playing all over the world.  He spent the summer of 2022 playing in the NBA Summer League with the Phoenix Suns.  Taylor has played in the Israeli Basketball Premier League and the top league in France, in addition to playing in Germany and Hungary.  Kameron is currently playing for Unicaja of the Spanish Liga AC.
