The Griffin men's track and field team concluded competition in the 2023 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon at Slippery Rock University.

Gabriel McConville won a PSAC title to help the men's team to a seventh place finish in the event.  

The Griffins finished the event with a team total of 46 points.

McConville, a sophomore, claimed the 1500 meter title in a highly contested race.  Gabriel won the event by just .01 seconds over the second place contender.  McConville won the event in a time of 3:50.78.

SHU went 2-3 in the 110 meter hurdles.  Ben Hartman was second in a time of 14.69 seconds.  Hunter Martin was third in the event in a time of 14.71 seconds.  Martin was also third in the 400 hurdles in a time of 54.40 seconds.  

Joseph Piper finished fifth in the 200 meter dash in a time of 21.93 seconds.
