Seton Hill continued PSAC West play on Sunday afternoon as they hosted Edinboro in Greensburg.

The Griffins scored six times in the fourth inning for a 7-3 win in game one. The Fighting Scots scored two in the seventh for a 2-1 win over the Griffins to split the doubleheader. SHU is now 14-8 overall and 7-1 in the PSAC West.

Edinboro picked up an unearned run in the top of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead. They added a solo homer in the third to take a 2-0 lead.Â

SHU got one of those runs back in the bottom of the third.Â
Camryn Murphy doubled to lead off the inning. She moved to third on a bunt base hit by
Nina Grandey. After a caught stealing,
Mackenzie Zang drew a walk. Murphy scored when
Grace Paredes reached on a fielders choice.Â

The Griffins broke it open in the fourth with six runs.Â
Brooke Cleland led off the inning with a double.Â
Kylie Hegland drew a walk.Â
Abby Smearman reached on an error with Cleland scoring on the play.Â
Brooklyn Fukushima singled to score Hegland and give SHU a 3-2 lead. Murphy drew a walk. After a double play on a flyout, Zang singled to score a run. Paredes followed with a three run bomb off the scoreboard to give SHU a 7-2 lead.Â

Edinboro added a run in the fifth to cut the lead to 7-3.Â

Lauren Dellett earned the win in the circle. Fukushima led the offense with two hits.Â

SHU scored a run in the bottom of the first of game one. Grandey and Zang each singled to lead off the inning. Both stole and Paredes walked to load the bases. Grandey scored on a sacrifice fly from Cleland to give SHU a 1-0 lead.Â

Edinboro got a two out, two run homer in the top of the seventh inning to take a 2-1 lead over the Griffins.Â

The Griffins will continue PSAC West play on Tuesday as they host California (PA).Â
