The Griffin tennis team continued their spring trip with a pair of matches on Wednesday and Thursday.
Seton Hill dropped a 5-2 decision to Cedarville on Wednesday afternoon before defeating John Carroll 5-2 on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Griffins lost the one doubles point but the number one doubles team of
Kasey Storkel and
Carissa Shepard won by a 6-0 score. Shepard also won her singles match by a 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 score. Maria Pareda won by a 6-1, 6-3 score.
On Thursday, the Griffins swept the three doubles matches. Storkel/Shepard won by a 6-2 score. Pareda/Kendall McCloskey won by a 6-1 score and
Julianna Begley/
Sophia Solomon picked up a 6-3 win. Shepard won 6-0, 6-1 in singles. Pareda picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win. Begley won 7-6 (6-2), 6-0 and Solomon won 6-3, 7-5.
The Griffins will close out their spring trip on Friday against Spring Arbor University.
