The Griffin tennis team kicked off their spring break trip with a pair of matches on Monday and Tuesday.

Seton Hill opened with a 6-1 loss to Winona State on Monday then dropped a 4-3 decision to the University of Sioux Falls on Tuesday.  

Against Winona, the Griffins got a win at #3 singles from Maria Pereda.

On Tuesday, the Griffins won all three doubles matches to pick up the doubles points.  The team of Kasey Storkel and Carissa Shepard won by a 7-5 score.  The team of Pareda and Kendall McCluskey also won by a 7-5 score.  The team of Julianna Begley and Sophia Solomon won by a 6-3 score.  Storkel won her singles match by a 6-2, 6-2 score.  Solomon won 2-6, 7-5, 10-8.

The Griffins will play Cedarville at noon on Wednesday.
