The Seton Hill Women's Equestrian Team traveled to Coolville, Ohio this weekend to attend two horse shows at Stonegate Equine Facility.  

The show on Saturday, March 11, 2023 was hosted by the University of Pittsburgh. The Griffins were able to capture the title of High Point Team after an incredibly successful day! Senior and Captain Kasey Beres captured the title of Reserve High Point Rider. Beres also qualified for regionals in the open over fences class. Freshman, Jana Skowvron also qualified for regionals in the pre-novice flat class.

Taylor Holmes: 5th Pre-novice Flat
Riley Miller: 6th Intermediate Fences, 1st Intermediate Flat
Aleeah Sheedy: 1st Pre-Novice Flat
Madeline Hill: 2nd Introductory Flat
Hannah Wheaton: 2nd Limit Flat
Hannah Burgess: 1st Limit Fences, 4th Limit Flat
Jana Skowvron: 1st Pre-Novice Flat
Lauryn Johnsen: 3rd Introductory Flat

On Sunday, March 12, 2023, the show was hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The team came back ready to dominate the ring. They collectively worked together and captured the title of High Point Team! Sophomore, Hannah Wheaton, was able to secure a qualifying spot at regionals in the limit flat class.

Next weekend, the team will travel to Willowbrook Stables in Fombell, PA for their last regular season show on Saturday, and the IHSA Zone 2 Region 5 regional competition on Sunday!
