The Griffin track and field teams sent a small squad to the Jim Wuske Invitational on Saturday in Alliance, OH.  The meet was hosted by Mount Union University.  

The teams combined for ten top ten finishes on the day.  

Leading the way on the women's side was Isabelle McCabe who won the 5K race with a time of 19:33.77.  Anna Rubino was sixth in the event with a time of 21:16.13.  Anessa Pigula placed fifth in the mile.  She ran a time of 5:28.44.  

SHU had three top ten finishes in the 400.  Layla Robertson was fifth (1:01.82), Haley Brenny sixth (1:02.99) and Emma Dennison tenth (1:04.86).  Jada Freeman placed eighth in the 800 with a time of 2:32.61.

On the men's side, Mark Bails was eighth in the 400.  He ran a time of 52.29 seconds.  Zakharee Williams was ninth with a time of 53.15 seconds.  Andrew Campbell placed ninth in the 60 meter dash.  He finished with a time of 7.25 seconds.  

The Griffins will take part in the Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY this upcoming weekend.
