The Griffin track and field teams closed out the PSAC Indoor Championships with Day Two of the event on Sunday at Bucknell University.
The men's team placed seventh with 36 team points while the women's team placed eighth with 39 team points. Shippensburg won both the men's and women's titles.
Sunday was a special day for the men's team as two members of the team won conference championships.
Gabriel McConville won the PSAC title in the mile in a time of 4:13.85. Just over ten minutes later,
Hunter Martin won the PSAC title in the 60 meter hurdles. He ran a Division II Provisional time of 8.16 seconds.
Angelo Allen also earned points for the men's team with a fifth place finish in the shot put. He had a throw of 15.86 meters.
On the women's side,
Darby Roth and
Alexis Cunningham went 3-4 in the mile. Roth finished in a time of 5:09.22 and Cunningham ran 5:10.68. Roth was also second in the 800, finishing in a time of 2:19.31. Cunningham was fifth in the 3000. She ran a time of 10:22.47.
The women's 4x4 relay team of
Haley Brenny,
Layla Robertson,
Anna Roberts and Roth finished in fifth with a time of 4:01.96.
