Seton Hill began PSAC action on Thursday evening with a PSAC Dual at Kutztown.

The Griffins won three of the first five matches but the Golden Bears won the final five matches of the dual for a 34-15 win over the Griffins. SHU is now 3-4 overall.

William Burgess got the Griffins off to a fast start with a win by fall at 125 pounds. Burgess staked the Griffins to a 6-0 lead with the win by fall at 4:12. Kutztown won the next two matches to take a 10-6 lead over the Griffins.Â

Nolan Daerr earned a hard fought 4-1 overtime victory at 149 pounds as the Griffins cut the Kutztown lead to 10-9.Â

Braxton Miller put the Griffins back in front 15-10 with a win by fall at 157 pounds. Miller earned the pin at the 6:34 mark of the match.Â

Kutztown then won the final five matches to earn the dual win.

Seton Hill will return to the mat on Sunday at the Lake Erie Storm Open. Â
