On Sunday, November 5th, the Seton Hill Women's Equestrian Team attended a show in Charleroi, Pa at Fallowfield Stables. The show was hosted by West Virginia University. This was the last show of the Fall 2023 season. 

 

The Griffins finish out the Fall section of their season strong and are leading the IHSA Zone 2 Region 5. Captain and Senior Riley Miller is also leading the Open Rider Cacchione. Riley Miller also qualified for regionals in the Open flat. Senior Aleeah Sheedy claimed the 1st place ribbon in her Limit flat class. Junior Hannah Wheaton won 1st place in her Limit fences class. Sophomore Lauryn Johnsen also successfully won 1st place in her Pre-Novice flat class as well. 

 

The team is incredibly proud of how their Fall 2023 season went and cannot wait to put the work in over break and work towards keeping their lead for the Spring. The team will compete again on March 9th and 10th for a double header at Stonegate Equine Facility in Coolville, Oh. Individual placings are below.
