Seton Hill made the short trip to Slippery Rock for another PSAC West contest on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins battled hard, but came up short as The Rock was able to secure the victory 2-0. Seton Hill falls to 3-6-1 overall and 2-6-1 in PSAC West play, while Slippery Rock gets to 6-3-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the PSAC West.
After a scoreless first half, Slippery Rock's offense got hot as they scored both goals in the second half to lead them to the win.Â
Lindsey Pazdziorko recorded five saves in the first half for the Griffins to keep it a tied game going into the second period. Slippery Rock took a 1-0 lead against the Griffins under ten minutes into the the half and then extended their mark to 2-0 with another goal in the 66th minute. Pazdziorko recorded nine saves on the match, while
Corynna Rotoli led the offense with two shots on goal, and
Victoria Rothrauff and
Jessica Molitoris added one each.
Seton Hill will look to bounce back against Mercyhurst on Wednesday, October 11th at 1:00pm in Greensburg.
