On Saturday, October 28th, the Women's Equestrian Team attended a show in Coolville, Ohio at the Stonegate Equine Facility. The show was hosted by the University of Pittsburgh. 

The team was able to secure the title of High Point Team as well as Captain Riley Miller winning Reserve High Point Rider. Senior, Madeline Hill, pointed out of the Pre-Novice division and into the Novice division. Junior, Hannah Burgess, earned a 1st place finish in her Intermediate Fences course as well. Sophomore Lauryn Johnsen was also able to earn a first place finish in her Pre-Novice flat class. 

On Sunday, October 29th, the team headed back to Stonegate Equine Facility in Coolville, Ohio to attend a show hosted by Allegheny College and Mercyhurst University. 

Senior and Captain, Riley Miller claimed the title of High Point Rider and qualified for regionals in the Open Over Fences. Senior Aleeah Sheedy qualified for regionals in the Novice flat. Freshman Cassidy Kennedy also pointed out of the Pre-Novice flat and into the Novice flat. Sophomore Jana Skowvron was able to earn the first place finish in her Limit flat class. 

The team is very proud of their riders and look forward to the rest of their season. Individual placings are below. Next Sunday, November 5th, the Griffins will travel to Reedsville, WV to attend a show hosted by West Virginia University.
