Seton Hill made the treck up I-79 to Edinboro for a PSAC West matchup with the Fighting Scots on Friday evening.
Seton Hill won the first and fourth set to even the match at one but the Scots won the fifth and deciding set for a 3-2 win over the Griffins.
The Griffins opened the match with a 25-20 first set win. Edinboro evened the match with a 25-16 win in the second set. The Scots took a 2-1 lead in the match with a 26-24 third set win. Seton Hill evened the match at two with a 25-23 fourth set win. Edinboro scored seven of the last eight points in the fifth set as they won the match by a 15-8 score.
Catie Flohr led the Griffins with a career high 21 kills.
Paige Cole also reached double figures with 15 kills.
Abby Oesterling finished with 36 assists, 10 digs, four kills and three aces.
Kate Eden added 18 assists and three aces.
Kendyl Wagner led SHU with 18 digs.
The Griffins will travel to Mercyhurst for a PSAC West matchup next Friday evening.
