On Sunday, October 8th, 2023 the Seton Hill Women's Equestrian Team held their Home Show at Bloomfield Stables. The Griffins left it all out in the ring and were able to capture the title of High Point Team! The team also celebrated their seniors Captain Riley Miller, Aleeah Sheedy, Aleczandria Prenovitz, and Secretary Madeline Hill

 

The team was led by senior and captain Riley Miller as she won High Point Rider after placing first in both her Open Flat and Open Fences classes. Multiple riders including seniors Aleeah Sheedy and Madeline Hill, junior Hannah Wheaton, and sophomores Jana Skowvron and Lauryn Johnsen were also able to claim first place ribbons in their events as well. 

 

All in all, the team worked together in and out of the ring and made the day a success. Next weekend they will travel to Wheeling, West Virginia to attend a show at Oglebay Stables hosted by Bethany College. The teams individual Placing are below.

Hannah Burgess: 2nd Intermediate Flat, 4th Intermediate Fences

Hannah Wheaton: 3rd Intermediate Flat, 1st Limit Fences

Aleczandria Prenovitz: 5th Limit Flat, 4th Limit Fences

Jana Skowvron: 1st Limit Flat

Aleeah Sheedy: 1st Novice Flat

Madeline Hill: 1st Pre-Novice Flat

Cassidy Kennedy: 2nd Pre-Novice Flat

Lauryn Johnsen: 1st Introductory Flat

Chloe Miller: 3rd Introductory Flat
