Seton Hill made the short trip to California (PA) for a PSAC West contest on Saturday afternoon at Adamson Stadium. 
 
California (PA) scored touchdowns on their first two possessions and added a defensive touchdown as they jumped out to a 20-0 lead in route to a 41-14 victory over the Griffins. 
 
The Vulcans won the toss and took the ball and scored on a 75 yard touchdown pass on their first play from scrimmage to take a 7-0 lead.  The Vulcans then took a 14-0 lead on a 53 yard interception return touchdown with 14:02 left in the first quarter.  After a three and out for the Griffins, Cal marched 60 yards in four plays to take a 20-0 lead with 10:56 to play.  CalU took the 20-0 lead into the second quarter. 
 
Early in the second half, the Vulcans returned another interception to the house, this one for 49 yards as they extended their lead to 27-0 with 12:02 to play in the half.  California added a late touchdown in the half as they took a 34-0 lead into the halftime break. 
 
Seton Hill got on the scoreboard on their first drive of the second half.  Kofi Kwaw hit Mark Bails Jr with a 60 yard catch and run touchdown.  Mason Yorty hit Isaac Ashley for the two point conversion to cut the lead to 34-8 with 12:31 left in the third quarter.  California took advantage of a short field after another interception as they increased their lead to 41-8 with 4:45 to play.
 
The Griffins trimmed the lead to 41-14 with 10:48 to play on a 13 yard touchdown pass from Kwaw to Ashley. 
 
Seton Hill finished with 18 first downs to 15 for Cal.  SHU outrushed Cal 125-35 on the day.
 
Kwaw went 12-21 for 119 yards and two touchdowns.  Bails Jr had five catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.  Ky'Ron Craggett rushed for 87 yards. 
 
Seton Hill returns home next week as they host IUP in another PSAC West contest.
