The Griffins returned home to host California (PA) in PSAC West action on Wednesday afternoon in Greensburg.
Seton Hill scored a pair of goals in each half as they defeated the Vulcans by the score of 4-1. SHU is now 2-2 in PSAC West action.
SHU opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the contest. Seton Hill used a counter attack after a Cal free kick to take the lead.
Brandon Knapp found a breaking
James Aubrey who hit
Brice Gandhi who finished into the back of the net for a 1-0 Griffin lead. Just over five minutes later, the Griffins increased their lead to 2-0.
Vasilis Christodoulou's free kick found the head of Aubrey in the box and the ball bounced to
Joseph Spencer who roofed a shot into the back of the net for the 2-0 lead.
The Griffins outshot the Vulcans 5-0 and had a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.
With just over twenty minutes to play in the second half,
Julian Marker increased the Griffin advantage to three.
Benjamin Nicholson's cross found
Julian Marker at the top of the box and Marker deposited it into the net for a 3-0 advantage. Six minutes later, the Vulcans scored their only goal on a PK to trim the lead to two. Christodoulou put the game away with a goal with about twelve minutes to play in the contest.
Tristan Wilson assisted on the goal.
Christodoulou led SHU with a goal and assist. Aubrey added two assists.
Aidan Hollander finished with four saves in net.
SHU will travel to Slippery Rock on Saturday for an important PSAC West contest.
