Three members of the Seton Hill men's lacrosse program were honored by Inside Lacrosse Magazine last Friday as preseason All Americans.
All three players were named as honorable mention selections. They included midfielders
Andy Davis and
Jeremy Sforzo and short stick defensive midfielder
Kage Williams. Williams also earned preseason All American honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine.
Last season, Williams was a All American honorable mention selection by the USILA. He also earned second team All North Region honors from the USILA. Sforzo and Williams were second team All G-MAC award winners while Davis was a third team selection.
In 2022, Williams was second on the Griffins with 43 ground balls and caused six turnovers. Davis was third on the Griffins in points with 46. He had the fourth most goals on the team with 31. Davis added 14 ground balls. Sforzo was fourth in points with 41. He scored 20 goals and added 21 assists. He added 15 ground balls.
Seton Hill will begin the 2023 season on Saturday, February 11th at Alderson Broaddus.
