Seton Hill continued PSAC West play on Friday evening with a matchup with Pitt Johnstown.

The Griffins and Mountain Cats split the first four sets and the Mountain Cats took the fifth and final set in a 3-2 win over the Griffins. SHU is now 10-4 overall and 1-2 in the west.

SHU took the opening set by a 25-21 score. The Mountain Cats rallied to defeat the Griffins in the second set by a 25-23 score to even the match at one. The Griffins then rallied from 11-6 down in the third set to take a 2-1 lead in the match with a 25-21 third set win. UPJ opened the fourth set with an 8-0 run and won the set by a 25-20 score to send the match into a fifth set.Â

UPJ opened the fifth set with a 6-0 run. The Mountain Cats were able to extend their lead to 11-2. UPJ took the match with a 15-4 win.

Paige Cole led the Griffins with 14 kills.Â
Payton Rodberg added eight kills with
Elizabeth Kolkowski and
Elizabeth Ward adding six.Â
Abby Oesterling led the offense with 18 assists.Â
Riley Rock finished with 12. Kolkowski added four blocks. Oesterling led the Griffins with 18 digs.Â
Mariela Alvarado finished with 16.Â
