Seton Hill opened PSAC West play on Friday evening in the McKenna Center when they hosted Clarion.
The Golden Eagles swept the Griffins to improve to 12-1 overall and 2-0 in the west. SHU falls to 9-3 overall and 0-1 in the west.Â
Clarion opened the match with a 25-20 win in the first set. They took a 2-0 lead with a 25-19 second set win. The Golden Eagles completed the sweep with a 25-15 win in the third set.Â
Payton Rodberg and
Katie Koziarz led the Griffins with nine kills each.Â
Elizabeth Kolkowski added six for the Griffins.Â
Abby Oesterling led the offense with 20 assists. Kolkowski also added three blocks.Â
Mariela Alvarado paced the Griffins with 13 digs. Â
SHU will continue PSAC West play on Saturday afternoon at Mercyhurst. Â
