The awards continue to roll in for the Seton Hill Softball Program. On Wednesday afternoon, the team earned two All American awards from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.
Graduate students
Jenna Osikowicz and
Morgan Ryan each earned D2CCA All American honors. Osikowicz was named to second team as an outfielder while Ryan earned honorable mention honors as a pitcher. It is the first D2CCA All American award won by either student athlete.
Osikowicz leads the Griffins in many offensive categories. Jenna leads the Griffins in batting average with a .457 average. She also leads the team with 75 hits, 49 runs, 20 stolen bases and nine triples. Jenna has added 11 doubles, three homers and 30 RBI.
Ryan is 18-2 on the season with a 1.05 ERA. Opponents are hitting just .179 off of her. In 133.1 innings, Morgan has allowed just 27 runs (20 earned runs) on 88 hits. Morgan has 153 strikeouts to just 27 walks.
A total of 42 student athletes earned first, second or third team honors. Fourteen student athletes were named honorable mentions.
