For the second consecutive season, Seton Hill junior defender
Makayla Kintner has earned All American honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
After being a third team selection in 2021, Kintner repeated as a third team selection in 2022.
Kintner joins Griffin assistant coach
Emma Simmers as the only two Griffins to earn All American honors twice in their careers. Simmers was a second team selection in 2014 and 2015.
Makayla was one of 48 student athletes to be named to an IWLCA All American team. The 48 student athletes represent 21 different Division II schools.
Kintner was named to the IWLCA All Atlantic Region Team as first team selections and was a first team All PSAC West selections. Kintner was named the PSAC West Defender of the Year.
Kintner led the Griffins in ground balls with 40 and caused turnovers with 32. She has also added 48 draw controls on the season. Makayla is ninth in the PSAC in caused turnovers.
