The Griffin men's track and field team took part in the 2022 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Millersville.
Samuel Hartman defended both of his PSAC Championships and the men's team finished sixth overall. Shippensburg won the PSAC team title. Â
Hartman won both the 110 and 400 meter hurdles in NCAA Provisional times. He finished in 14.34 in the 110 hurdles and 52.23 in the 400 hurdles. Â
Gabriel McConville was second in the 1500 in a time of 3:54.60.Â
Ben Hartman was fifth in the 110 hurdles in a time of 15.21 seconds. Â
Joseph Piper had two top eight finishes on the day. He was seventh in the 200 (22.22) and eighth in the 100 (11.14). Both
Donavin Meriweather and
Hunter Martin finished sixth in their events. Meriweather was sixth in the 800 in a time of 1:54.00 while Martin placed eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 14.17 meters. Â
