For the second time in a week, Seton Hill took on West Chester in a women's lacrosse playoff contest. Last Friday, the teams played in the PSAC Tournament semifinals, won by the Rams 17-8. This time, the stakes were even higher, as the teams faced off in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Unfortunately, the Griffins faced a similar result, as West Chester knocked off SHU 19-10 to advance to the next round against the Regional host, East Stroudsburg. West Chester looked like they might pull away in the third, scoring the first three goals of the period. Seton Hill managed to get two back though, with Conlan scoring off an assist from Sutfin and
Ella Wroblewski posting her first goal of the game to make it a four-goal spread. The Rams would tally another goal late in the quarter and had a 12-7 lead going into the final period.
The Rams would pull away for good in the final quarter, outscoring the Griffins 7-3. Frank, TeSelle and
