The Griffin track and field teams headed to Lewisburg, PA for the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Friday and Saturday.

The teams had multiple new school records over the two day event.  

On the men's side, Gabriel McConville set a new school record with a time of 3:54 in the 1500.  Three different records fell on the women's side.  Hannah Smrcka set a new school record in the 1500 Invite race with an 11th place finish in a time of 17:12.06.  Sydney Wolf set a new school record with a time of 4:37 in the 1500.  Wolf along with Darby Roth, Allison Pittman and Alexis Cunningham set a new school record with a first place finish in the 4x8 relay.  They finished with a time of 9:38.38.  

Samuel Hartman was first in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.19 seconds.  He was also second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 53.54 seconds.  The 4x4 relay team of McConville, Hunter Martin, Joseph Piper and Zakharee Williams finished second in a time of 3:19.74.

Roth was fourth in the 1500 unseeded race in a time of 4:43.38.  Samantha Gravatt was sixth in the javelin with a throw of 42.01 meters.  Isabella Myles placed 12th in the 5K unseeded race with a time of 18:43.11.

The teams will compete in the Ashland Alumni Open next weekend.
