A select number of track and field athletes competed in the Bob Davidson Memorial at High Point University and the Stan Romanoski Open at West Virginia University on Saturday afternoon.
The group was led by NCAA Provisional performances from
Samantha Gravatt at the Stan Romanoski Open and
Samuel Hartman at the Bob Davidson Memorial.
Gravatt won the javelin with an NCAA Provision mark of 43.21 meters. Hartman was second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 52.37 seconds and third in the 110 hurdles in a time of 14.33 seconds.
Cameron Sapola finished third in the javelin at WVU with a mark of 49.38 meters and
Jacob Burkey was tenth with a toss of 42.44 meters.
The Griffins will compete at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational next weekend.
