Redshirt senior Joel Cawoski competed in the 2022 NCAA Diviision II National Championships at the Chaifetz Arena in Saint Louis, Missouri on Friday.  

Cawoski wrestled two matches on Friday and dropped both matches to be eliminated from the championships.  

In the first match of the day, Cawoski took on top ranked Joey Bianchini of St Cloud State in the 141 pound weight class.  Bianchini, who entered with a 28-0 record, improved to 29-0 with a 16-4 win.  

On Friday evening, Cawoski faced Keaten Schorr of Augustana in the consolation round.  Cawoski was eliminated with an 8-2 loss.
