The Griffin track and field teams sent a smaller squad to the Jud Logan Open at Ashland University on Saturday afternoon.  

Hunter Martin led the Griffins with two top five finishes.  Hunter was third in the triple jump with a mark of 13.65 meters and fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.94 meters.  

On the women's side, both Darby Roth and Sydney Wolf earned two top eight finishes.  Wolf was sixth in the 800 meter run in a time of 2:16.99.  Roth finished seventh in the 800 with a time of 2:17.45.  Roth and Wolf teammed with Anna Roberts and Alyson Taylor to place fourth in the 4x4 relay.  They ran the 1600 meters in a time of 4:07.41.

Keelin Becker also added a top eight finish.  Keelin was eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.44 meters.  

The teams will head to the Doug Raymond National Qualifier next weekend at Kent State University.
