Seton Hill completed action at the 2022 PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday, which were held at Edinboro University. The Griffin men scored fourth place in the team standings, while the women's team placed seventh overall.

The Griffin men climbed as high as second in the team standings, but finished the Championships in fourth place with 66 points behind Shippensburg (210), Slippery Rock (90) and East Stroudsburg (76). Seton Hill entered Sunday's competition in fourth place as well and held their position thanks to 10 scoring performances, including four All-PSAC honors.

The best performance of the day was turned in by Samuel Hartman, as he won the PSAC Championship in the 60m Hurdles. He coasted to the top seed in Saturday's prelims and bettered it by breaking the tape in 8.13 seconds, which not only won the league crown but also set a new SHU Indoor record and bettered his NCAA provisionally qualifying time set the previous day. Hartman would also earn All-PSAC in the 400, as he took second place with a time of 49.19.

That was part of a big day from the Griffin sprinters on Sunday, as posting points in two events was Joseph Piper and Zakharee Williams. Piper sprinted to Second Team All-PSAC accolades in the 200 with a time of 22.06 and he also earned sixth in the 60 (7.09). Williams scored fourth place in the 400 by crossing in 49.89 and his time of 22.51 in the 200 was good for seventh place as well.

The first All-PSAC award on Sunday for the men went to Gabriel McConville. After he was part of the Distance Medley team that took second on Saturday, McConville came back to take third in the Mile with a time of 4:24.09 for his second all-conference award of the weekend.

Others who scored for the Griffins on Sunday included Ben Hartman with a fourth place finish in the 60 hurdles (8.56); Andrew Campbell earning seventh in the 60 (7.11); Alex Martin taking seventh in the shot put (49-3); and Ben Kissell scoring 4,125 points in the Heptathlon to also take seventh place.

The Seton Hill women came into Sunday in ninth place, but thanks to a big day from the distance runners, climbed to seventh place overall with 43 teams points. The first points of the day came in the Mile when a trio of Griffins scored. Leading the way was Sydney Wolf, who placed fourth in a time of 5:05.95, while Alexis Cunningham was sixth (5:12.14) and Darby Roth took seventh (5:15.04).

Those same three, who were also part of the record-setting Distance Medley team that took second place on Saturday, would score again in the 800. Wolf earned her second All-PSAC award of the meet by racing across in second place with a time of 2:16.52, while Cunningham was sixth (2:21.65) and Roth finished seventh (2:21.72).
