Seton Hill freshman outfielder Drew Garth was named the PSAC West Baseball Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

Garth earned the award for his performance in the Griffins three game series in Gaffney, SC against Limestone this weekend.  

Garth hit .538 (7-13) in the Griffins season opening series.  He had a double, two homers and drove in seven while scoring five runs.  He went 3-4 with a solo homer in game one on Saturday and then went 4-5 with a double, homer and 6 RBI in the game two win. 

The Griffins are scheduled to host Walsh this weekend.
