Seton Hill and Gannon played with second place in the PSAC West on the line on Saturday afternoon in Greensburg, PA.
Gannon scored early in the contest and the Griffins answered near the end of the first half as the team's played to a 1-1 tie. SHU and Gannon are now both 4-1-2 in the PSAC West.
The Golden Knights did not take much time as they scored just 3:45 into the contest to take a 1-0 lead over the Griffins. The Knights remained tied with the Griffins until
Benjamin Nicholson scored from
Archie Lock and
Elias Vangen in the 31st minute of the contest. Gannon outshot the Griffins by one in the first half.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the second half and the team's played to a 1-1 tie.
Seton Hill dominated the second half of the contest as they outshot the Knights by a 10-2 margin.
Bobby White finished with 2 saves for the win.
Seton Hill will take on first place Mercyhurst on Wednesday afternoon at 1 PM.
