Seton Hill returned home to host Gannon in a make up contest of an earlier scheduled PSAC Dual match on Wednesday evening in the McKenna Center.
The #6 Golden Knights won eight of the ten matches in route to a 36-6 win over the Griffins. SHU falls to 5-5 overall and 1-4 in PSAC action while the Golden Knights improve to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in PSAC duals. Â
Gannon opened the match with a 4-3 decision win to take a quick 3-0 lead over the Griffins. Â
The Griffins then picked up two straight wins to take a 6-3 lead in the match.Â
William Burgess won by a 7-2 score at 133 pounds to tie the match at three.Â
Joel Cawoski followed with a hard fought 3-1 win at 141 pounds to put the Griffins back in front 6-3. Â
Gannon then closed out the match by winning the final seven matches.
Seton Hill is scheduled to host East Stroudsburg next Wednesday evening.Â
