Seton Hill returned to the track after the Christmas and New Year's Break at the Al Hall Freedom Games in Edinboro on Saturday afternoon.
The teams finished with twenty top eight finishes and added three first place finishes in their return to the track. Â
The men's team was paced by three first place finishes.Â
Andrew Smith was first in the 800 meter run in a time of 2:03.45.Â
Samuel Hartman finished first in the 60 hurdle finals in a time of 8.19 seconds.Â
Andrew Campbell was first in the triple jump with a leap of 13.73 meters. Campbell was also eighth in the long jump with a jump of 6.18 meters. Hartman was eighth in the 200 with a time of 23.01 seconds. Â
Hunter Martin had two top three finishes. He was second in the long jump (6.80 m) and third in the triple jump (13.31 m).Â
Joseph Piper was fifth in two events. He was fifth in the 60 meter dash finals (7.13) and fifth in the 200 (22.82).Â
Barry Ozimek had two top seven finishes. He was third in the pole vault (2.45 m) and tied for seventh in the high jump (1.65 m). Â
Zakharee Williams was second in the 400 meter dash in a time of 52.39 seconds.Â
Noah Flaherty was fourth in the 800 in a time of (2:04.03). Anthony Sacco was fifth in the 60 hurdles in a time o f8.96 seconds.Â
Ben Kissel was tied for seventh in the pole vault (1.65 m). Â
The 4x4 relay team of
Haley Brenny,
Alyson Taylor,
Jensen Scamardi and
Anna Roberts were second in a time of 4:21.46.Â
Lauren Ritenour finished third in the pole vault, clearing 3.05 meters.Â
Elyssa Pemu was fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.45 meters.Â
Teresa Kondas was sixth in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 2.30 meters. Â
The teams will compete in the YSU Collegiate Invite next Friday. Â
