Logan Hartman has continued her spectacular start to her collegiate career by posting three more wins last week in the circle. Because of this, Hartman was named the PSAC West Pitcher of the Week. It is the second time this season that Hartman has earned the award.
Hartman was 3-0 in three starts as the Griffins went 6-2 during the week clinching the PSAC West Division title. Hartman worked 15 1/3 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 11 hits while striking out 11. Hartman had a complete game two hit shutout in the Griffins win at Edinboro. She also allowed just four hits while striking out seven in six innings against CalU.
On the season, Hartman is 11-0 with a 1.15 ERA in 14 appearances and 11 starts. She has worked 67 innings, giving up just 44 hits and 11 earned runs while striking out 45 and walking just 15. Opponents are hitting just .177 off of her this season.
Hartman and the Griffins will host Mercyhurst in a best of three PSAC Quarterfinal beginning on Wednesday afternoon.
