The Griffin tennis team continued PSAC West play at home at the Greensburg Racquet Club on Saturday afternoon as they hosted Mercyhurst University.

The Lakers took the one doubles point then won four of the six singles matches for a 5-2 win over the Griffins.  SHU is now 3-3 overall and 2-2 in PSAC West play.  

SHU won one of the three doubles matches, earning a win at #1 doubles from the team of Kaelyn Zak and Jenna Bailey.  Bailey/Zak won by a score of 6-4.

Earning singles victories were Zak who won 7-5, 6-3 at number one singles and Cameron Beer who won 6-4, 6-3 at number two singles.

SHU returns to action this Saturday when they host CalU at Latrobe HS.
