The Griffin tennis team opened their PSAC West schedule by hosting IUP at the Latrobe HS Courts on Saturday afternoon.  

IUP earned the one doubles point and then took five of the six singles matches for a 6-1 win over the Griffins.  

The doubles team of Julianna Begley and Kendall McCluskey won their doubles match by forfeit.  Marlayna Verenna picked up a win at #6 singles by forfeit as well.

SHU will continue PSAC West play on Sunday when they travel to Edinboro.
