3/20/2021 7:47:00 PM

The Seton Hill cross country teams closed out a shortened spring season at the 2021 PSAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Lock Haven University on Saturday afternoon.

The men's team had two All PSAC performers which helped them to a sixth place finish.  The sixth place finish is the best ever finish for a Griffin men's team in the PSAC Championship.

Leading the way was first team All PSAC performer Benton Bickerton who finished in 14th place.  Bickerton ran the 5K course in a time of 15:51.0.  Owen Keith was the other All PSAC performer, finishing as a second team All PSAC selection, with a 16th place finish.  Keith ran the course in 15:56.2.

Next up for the Griffins was Donavin Meriweather who was in 47th place.  He completed the course in a time of 16:34.9.  Al Lindstrom was 65th (16:59.5).  Greg Overbeck finished in 88th place in a time of 17:37.7 and Marcus Hartlage rounded out the SHU top six with a 96th place finish (17:51.3).

The team will now get ready for the outdoor track and field season.
