Seton Hill concluded their weekend roadtrip with a matchup against Pitt Johnstown on Saturday afternoon. UPJ swept the Griffins in the PSAC West matchup. SHU falls to 9-8 overall and 2-4 in the west while UPJ improves to 10-4 overall and 3-3 in the west.
The first set was not a good one for the Griffins as they hit -.179 in a 25-14 first set loss.
The second set was alot tighter as the Griffins fought throughout the set but came up just short in a 25-23 loss.
Seton Hill battled the Mountain Cats in the third set as well but UPJ was able to pull it out in the end with a 27-25 third set win.
Paige Cole led the Griffins with 10 kills and 14 digs.
Elizabeth Ward added five kills.
Shannon Watkins led the Griffins with 13 assists.
Mackenzie English had five blocks in the match.
The Griffins will host Mercyhurst next Friday evening.
